BLACKFOOT — This weekend is full of ways to contribute to Relay for Life while having fun. Relay for Life will be June 17-18 at Blackfoot High School.
Two fundraising events are happening at the Downtown Dance Studio show at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday in the Blackfoot Performing Arts Center.
The Laura VanOrden/Cindy Campbell Team will be selling roses for $5 for dancers at the Downtown Dance Studio performances at Blackfoot High School.
The Rotary of Blackfoot Relay team will also be selling raffle tickets for a free year of dance with Downtown Dance at the show.
On Saturday, the Electricians for Life team is hosting "Give Cancer the Boot" boot polishing and Zhu Zhu races from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. at Cal Ranch. For more information call Laurie Watters at 390-1913.
The Silver Spurs 4H Club will be selling food Saturday at the Horse 4-H Clinic at Mickelsen's Arena.
Also on Saturday the Grandma's Gang Relay team will have a multi-family yard sale at 1835 Frontage Road from 8 a.m.-3 p.m. with all the proceeds going to Relay for Life. They will also be selling luminaries at the yard sale. If anyone wants to donate items to the yard sale, they can call Pat at 681-4243.
There will be a craft sale in front of Kathy & Company, 792 W. Bridge, from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. sponsored by the J & J's Crew Relay team. Items for sale will include refrigerator magnets, decorative tiles, decorative wood blocks, headbands, homemade jams, candies and pink ribbon journals.
The Swatt Team is hosting a bake sale at the Blackfoot Swimming Pool on Saturday from 10 a.m.-1 p.m.
The Relay for Life garage sale will be June 4 from 7 a.m.-1 p.m. at Bingham Memorial Hospital on the south lawn. All teams are invited to participate.
There will be a ping pong ball drop June 4 at the Blackfoot High School football field. Gates will open at 4 p.m., admission is $2. A plane will fly over at 4:30 p.m. dropping 3,500 ping pong balls, some with prizes on them. The event is sponsored by the Idaho Central Credit Union Relay team.
The Relay team Pony Up for a Cure is hosting a team sorting competition June 4 at Val and Heather Carter's arena at 1025 South 1500 West in Pingree. The cost is $10 per team of three for one go around or $20 for three go arounds. The final team captain meeting will be June 15 at 7 p.m. at XII Stones inside the Blackfoot Chevron. The Survivor Dinner, sponsored by On The Spot Cleaning and Restoration, will be June 14 at 5:30 p.m. at the Arts & Crafts building at the Eastern Idaho State Fairgrounds.
The Carson & Barnes Circus is June 15 with showtimes at 4 and 7 p.m. Ten percent of the profits will be donated to Relay for Life. Advance tickets will be available at Short Stop and the Bank of Commerce.
On June 17-18, A&W is donating 10 percent of their sales to Relay for Life and Sinclair is giving away car washes with a donation.

Silver Spur 4H Club is selling ‘Relay Donation Feet’ for $1 at the Snake River Sinclair, PRB Feed, and Bingham Coop. Plus, they have donation buckets at A&W, Mickelsen Construction, Golden Comb, Dr. Peterson’s Office, Bingham Coop and the Snake River Sinclair. The Bank of Commerce's "Piggy Bank Posse" team is selling candy bars for $1. They also have donation jars at all the desks and teller lines.

And if you're looking for someone to help with a little spring cleaning, the Rodriguez boys are having a lawn spring clean fundraiser. On Saturdays through May they will rake leaves, clean flower beds, plant flowers and mow lawns for $7.50 per hour. Call 680-9586 to schedule. The Bingham County Law Enforcement Team sponsors a bake sale every other Friday at the Bingham County Courthouse from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.
Pony Up for a Cure is raffling hunting and folding knives custom made by Mark Bair and a gift basket and two baby quilts. Tickets are $1 each or 6 for $5.
