Delbert Lee Duchscher, 56, of Blackfoot passed away Saturday, June 25, 2011, at his home.
He was born on Dec. 16, 1954, in Blackfoot to Delbert Roy Herman and Jennie Mae McCalluy. He has lived his entire life in Blackfoot. He attended school in the Snake River School District.
Delbert served in the United States Army.
On Feb. 10, 1982, he married Thelma Jones in Rigby, they were later divorced.
He was a member of the Catholic Church.
Delbert was a truck driver for many years and enjoyed being on the road.
He liked be outdoors, fishing, camping, wrestling and watching WWC.
He is survived by his daughters: Miranda (Dennis) Morgan, Christy (Jeremy) Atwood, Tayla Duchscher;, his mother and step-father, Jennie Mae and James Duchscher; brothers, Joe Duchscher, all of Blackfoot and Herbert Duchscher of Idaho Falls; sisters Ruth Duchscher of Blackfoot, Rose (Darrell) Reeder of Roberts; and five grandchildren, Kallie, Qayin, Madison, Tekerra and Kaysha.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, July 13, 2011, at the Mackay Reservoir. Arrangements are under the direction of Hawker Funeral Home.
