BLACKFOOT — Registration for students in the Blackfoot School District will be Aug. 15-17. The first day of school is Aug. 24.
Lunch prices for the 2011-2012 school year will be $1.85 for elementary students, $2.10 for grades 6-12 and $3.10 for all adults. Reduced lunch price is 40 cents.
Breakfast prices are $1.20 for elementary students, $1.35 for grades 6-12 and $1.95 for adults. Reduced breakfast price is 30 cents.
Everyone is welcome to fill out a free or reduced lunch form at registration. A four-person household can earn $41,348 annually before taxes to qualify for reduced lunch.
Households with any member who is receiving Food Stamps, Temporary Assistance for Families in Idaho (TAFI) or Food Distribution on Indian Reservations (FDPIR) will qualify for free lunch and are only required to provide the recipient’s name, their food stamp, TAFI or FDPIR case number, the student/s name and an adult signature.
For other applicants, the household must list the names of all household members, all household income with the amount, source and frequency of the income received by each household member.
