Our beloved son, brother and father, Wyc John Beasley, departed our world to join his mother on August 25, 2011.
Wyc was born on Christmas Day, 1977 to William “Bill” and Sharon Sheepskin Beasley. Wyc grew up and spent the majority of his life in Fort Hall with a brief time away in Colorado during his elementary years.
Anyone who knew Wyc always got a kick out of his great sense of humor, especially his imitations of various family members. Wyc always had a smile on his face and never failed to be the life of the party. As a humble person, he attempted to find the good in all who crossed his path.
Being the youngest of his mothers children, “Wickett” never left her side. Into adulthood he cherished their special relationship and mourned deeply when he suffered her loss. As a young man, Wyc had a strong work ethic and enjoyed performing ranch work with his Grandpa Noel. In the mid 90's Wyc met his beloved friend and mentor, Brian Racehorse, together they worked as independent contractors until the time of Brian’s death. From there Wyc again took up his cowboy upbringing and joined his grandpa in operation of the Blackfoot Livestock Commission. Upon his disability, Wyc took a different direction in life, enjoying as much as possible and treasuring time with family and friends.
Wyc is survived by his children, Justin Beasley, Thomas Nagashaoh, Mariah Nagashaoh, Thunder Beasley and Hunter Beasley; father, William “Bill” (Aleena) Beasley; brothers, Jake Beasley and William Beasley Jr.; paternal half-siblings, Jeremy (Feather) Ball, Patrick Ball, Mia (Shoni) Edmo Bache, Darren (Deloa) Yupe, Madilynn Beasley and Wyatt Beasley; grandparents, Wilma Eagle Perry and Noel Beasley; auntie-momma’s, Zelphia Sheepskin and Cecilia Phelps; paternal aunts and uncles, Luke Eagle, Bufford Beasley, Pat Broncho, Debra Basely, Rebecca Beasley and Brenda Beasley; cousins who he loved as brothers and sisters, Jovette Archuletta, Janna Archuletta, Antonette Jim, Loyd Jim and Nolan Jim; former step-mother, Royce Ball; and mother figure, Glenna Timbana.
