Wake Up Call has moved and is open for business at its new location just west of Blackfoot at 320 W. Hwy. 26. Business hours are from 5:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday, and 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday.
On the menu is a good variety of coffee and non-coffee drink choices, fruit smoothies, Frappuccino, expresso, flavored steamers and hot chocolate as well as muffins, cookies and biscotti.
Drinks come in small, medium and large sizes. Prices range from $1.25 for drip coffee to $5 for specialty drinks and “everything in between,” said owner Christie Oleson.
“Business has been good; thanks to my loyal customers,” Oleson said. “This is a really good location; the manager at Sinclair has been great to work with.”
For the convenience of their customers, Wake Up Call and A&W share the same drive-up window.
Oleson purchased Wake Up Call three years ago “because it was going to be closed.
“I was its best customer,” she said. “I would get a cup of coffee on my way to work as a nurse at Bingham Memorial Hospital and after my shift ended when I was returning home.”
Wake Up Call has three full-time and two part-time employees.
Purses, hats, boots and fun accessories can also be purchased there. Employee Keshone Cathey is in charge of accessories.
Oleson and her husband, Justin, have five children—Dakota, 19, Cheyenne, 17, Wyatt, 16, Riggin, 2 and Ruger, 10 months.
