Wanda Mae Anderson Hahn, 89, of Blackfoot, Idaho passed away Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at Bingham Memorial Hospital in Blackfoot.
Wanda was born January 28, 1923 in Moreland, Idaho to Chester Alberto Grimmett and Mae Elizabeth Ellis. She lived her entire life in Blackfoot.
On July 22, 1940, Wanda married Max Wendell Anderson in Blackfoot, Idaho. He preceded her in death in 1973. She married Alfred Hahn in 1981 in Blackfoot, Idaho. He also precedes her in death.
Wanda worked at the Colonial Inn as a waitress, at Walley’s Jewelry and at AMI for a few years. In her free time she enjoyed gardening, listening to books on tape, was a very good cook and loved being a mother and grandmother.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and she and her husband, Max were active in the Blackfoot Elks Lodge and the DOE’s.
Wanda is survived by her children, Rick (Delpha) Anderson of Meridian, Idaho, Jack (Kristi) Anderson of Boise, Idaho, Maxine Rais of Seattle, Washington and Linda Lou Monson of Blackfoot, Idaho; sister, Vicki Brumfield of Moreland; four grandchildren, Toshia Joe Monson, Angelia Monson, Alexee Anderson and Jesseca Anderson; and four great grandchildren, Jamal Jimenez, Khloe Archibald, Alazay Monson and Sophia Mae Murphy.
She is preceded in death by her husbands, Max Anderson and Alfred Hahn; son, Wayne; her parents; and brothers, Elden, Dell and Darwin Grimmett.
According to Wanda’s wishes no services are planned at this time. Family has been under the care of Hawker Funeral Home in Blackfoot. Condolences may be sent to the family at email@example.com .
