Kenneth Albert Anderson, 73, passed away at his home in Henderson, Nev., on July 1, 2012, of natural causes.
He was born Nov. 28, 1938, in Riverside, the son of Claus Albert Anderson and Iris Wray Anderson Cammack. He grew up there and attended schools in Riverside and Moreland. He graduated from Snake River High School in May of 1955.
Kenneth worked for his uncle, Marvin Wray, a few years and then moved to Henderson and worked at the Titanium Metal Plant until he retired. He loved the outdoors and in his younger years did a lot of fishing and hunting. He also enjoyed playing golf with his friends. One of his greatest pleasures was when he was called to serve as an ordinance worker in the Las Vegas, Nevada, LDS Temple.
He is survived by two sons, Alan (Chris) Wiese of Pleasanton, Calif.; and Shannon Anderson of Idaho Falls; one daughter, Tandra (Douglas) West of Shelley, a stepdaughter, Deanna Grimmett of Moreland and a stepson Todd Farnes of Oregon; 16 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
He is also survived by two sisters, Marge (Lloyd) Merrill of Moreland and Marilyn (Larry) Larkin of Willard, Utah. He was preceded in death by his parents.
A memorial service was held on Sunday, July 15, 2012, in Henderson.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at Hawker Funeral Home, 132 S. Shilling Ave., Blackfoot. The family will meet for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Interment will be in the Riverside-Thomas Cemetery.
