BLACKFOOT — Friends and family of Brent and Emilie Hansen are working together with local Modern Woodmen of America Youth Service Clubs to raise funds to support the Hansen family.
Brent was killed in a recent motorcycle accident.
All money raised will go directly to supporting the Hansen family.
The following events are currently scheduled:
A silent auction is currently on online. Over 100 items are up for bid.
This auction can be accessed by visiting www.facebook.com/HansenAuction  any time between now and Saturday. The auction will end promptly at 10 p.m. on Saturday. Winners will be notified after this time.

On Friday, Sept. 21, a Zumbathon is scheduled from 5:30—7:30 p.m. at El Centenario, 51 S. Spruce St. in Blackfoot. Cost is a minimum donation of $5 per person. There will be refreshments, a raffle and lots of fun.
On Saturday, Sept. 22, a Potato Bar Benefit Dinner is scheduled from 5:30—8 p.m. in the Blackfoot High School Gymnasium. The cost is $5 per person or $20 for the entire family (household only).
At 7 p.m., a live auction for some of the larger fundraiser donations will take place. These items include paintings, furnishings, tools and gifts.
These events were decided after an overwhelming response from the community to help Brent's surviving wife and five chilldren.
Modern Woodmen will be matching all funds raised, up to $5,000. Any donation is greatly appreciated.
