Charles Randall “Randy” Aldous, 68, of Blackfoot passed away Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2012 at Bingham Memorial Hospital.
He was born Oct.15, 1944 in Blackfoot, the son of Charles Lynn Aldous and Mabel Frew Aldous.
He attended school in Grandview and graduated from Aberdeen High School.
He has been a lifetime resident of Blackfoot except for time he spent on a mission in Sweden and the military. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.
Randy was a member of the Gold Panning Club and Model Railroaders.
He worked for Chet Wahlen Farms, Twentieth Century Ford, True Value, Milestone and as a realtor.
He enjoyed four-wheeling, camping, metal detecting and model railroads.
He is survived by his mother, Mabel Aldous of Blackfoot; brother, Ronald Aldous and sisters, Roxie Monroe and Ricki (Vernon) Sandoval, all of Blackfoot; 5 nieces and 1 nephew.
He was preceded in death by his father, Charles and one nephew, David.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 26, 2012 at the Hawker Funeral Home, 132 S. Shilling Ave.
The family will meet with friends on Sunday from 6-8 p.m. and for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Interment will be in the Springfield Cemetery.
