Activities for the Eastern Idaho Ag Expo begin today.
The Ag Expo is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. today and Wednesday and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday at Holt Arena.
Over 125 exhibitors are participating. On display are the latest in farm equipment, products and services. This is one of the largest equipment shows in the nation.
The Idaho Seed Potato Grower's Seminar, sponsored by the Idaho Crop Improvement Association, is from noon to 5 p.m. today at the Clarion Inn. Registration is from 11:30 a.m. to noon and costs $30 for person.
The Seed Potato Grower's Seminar highlights issues involving seed potatoes. In Idaho, all commercial growers are required to use certified seed potatoes.
The Idaho Potato Conference, sponsored by the University of Idaho, is Wednesday and Thursday in the Student Union Building.
A wide variety of topics will be presented, including Zebra Chip control, wind erosion issues and seed certification and disease management.

Admission to the Ag Expo and the Potato Conference is free. All parking is at Holt Arena on the ISU campus. Shuttle buses travel every 10 minutes between Holt Arena and the Student Union Building.
