OGDEN, Utah — Darwin Eric Richard Dayton, 36, of Ogden died at his home, on March 10, 2013.
Eric was born Jan. 17 1977, in Ogden to Darwin E. and Deana M. Dayton of Malad. He married Eko M. Madalena, April 19, 2008 in Ogden. Eric is survived by his wife, Eko; parents, Darwin and Deana; daughters, Denika Dawn and Patience Annabelle Dayton of Ogden, Utah; Mikayla Crivello of Brigham City, Utah and Grace Hanson of Caldwell; sisters, Nadine A. (Jeremy) Knodel of Derby, Kansas and Stacie A (Andrew) Most of Las Vegas, Nev; grandmothers, Bell Haddon of Malad and Betty Dayton of Ogden, Utah; nephews, Brian, Dayton, Nathan, Jeremy, Jax, Derby of Kansas Damien, Atreyu, and niece Maryjane of Las Vegas, Nev.; two special girls Erin and Autumn, of St. George Utah. He is also survived by special brothers, Boyd, Jason, Cody, and Bryce and a special sister, Alexis as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He will never be forgotten.
Darwin was preceded in death by his grandparents, Dee Dayton, Charles Haddon, and Barbara Bell.
Darwin loved to play guitar and make music. He was a member of the Canyon Road Assembly of God. Eric worked alongside his Dad at Darwin Dayton Construction Co. in Malad for many years.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 18 at 3 p.m. at the Horsley Funeral Home, 132 W. 300 N. in Malad. Friends may visit with the family on Monday from 2-3 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Horsley Funeral Home.
