Ronald D. Aldous, 67 of Blackfoot, passed away Sunday, July 7, 2013 at his home.
He was born Jan. 4, 1946 in Blackfoot, the son of Charles and Mable Aldous.
He lived his life in Grandview and Blackfoot,. He graduated from Aberdeen High School in 1964.
Ron served in the Air Force from 1965-1969 at various bases in the USA and in Thailand.
He married Kay Shelman and they were later divorced.
He worked for 20th Century after serving in the Air Force, Spudnik for 20 years and drove truck for Eagle Rock Timber. He was one of the best mechanics in Bingham County.
Ronald enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, snowmobiling and spending time with his grandkids.
He is survived by his children, Kelly Ann Aldous (Jason Elison) of Las Vegas, Nev.; Lisa Nicole Aldous of Blackfoot; Joy (Kent) Atkin of Twin Falls; mother, Mabel Aldous; sisters, Roxie Monroe and Ricki(Vernon) Sandoval, all of Blackfoot; and three grandchildren, who meant the world to him, Ben, Jack, and Ava.
He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Aldous, brother, Randy Aldous and nephew, David Monroe.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 10, 2013 at Hawker Funeral Home, 132 S. Shilling Ave., Blackfoot.
The family will meet with friends on Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. and for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
