GLENNS FERRY — Steven Mark Butler, 53, of Blackfoot passed away Tuesday, Sept. 28, 2010 at the home of his brother David in Glenns Ferry.
Steve was born Feb. 17, 1957, in Blackfoot to LaMar and Sharlene Butler. He was raised in Blackfoot and attended school in the Blackfoot School District.
Steve worked as a body fender restorer, at numerous dairies in various areas and as a sheep herder in Oakley. In his free time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and restoring old cars.
Steve is survived by his daughter, Stacy (Dustin) Garner of Arco; his mother and stepfather, Sharlene and Jay Lambert; brother, David (Denise) Butler of Glenns Ferry; sister, Karen (Mike) Barkerof Blackfoot; and two grandchildren, Dustin Jr and Anthony Garner.
He was preceded in death by his father, LaMar; and brother, Joel.
According to his wishes cremation services have taken place under the direction of Hawker Funeral Home and a memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 1, 2010, at Hawker Funeral Home, 132 South Shilling Avenue in Blackfoot.
Family will meet with friends and relatives from 10:30 to 11 a.m. on Friday prior to the service.
