Mary O. Smith, 92, formerly of Blackfoot, passed away peacefully on Saturday, Jan. 25, 2014 at the Hiland Assisted Living Center in Burley.
Mary was born on Aug. 25, 1921 at Artiesan City, Twin Falls County, to Charles W. Zulkey and Fannie Towery Zulkey.
Mary was a former resident of Blackfoot where she was employed at State Hospital South and Nonpareil Potato Company. She resided in Blackfoot for over 36 years, making her home in the Parkside Manufactured Mobile Home Community.
She is survived by her only child, Marilyn Baily of Rupert; two granddaughters, Kathi (Thayne) Ketterline and Cari (Jason) Moodie; three great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Andrew and Jessica Moodie, all of Boise. She is also survived by one sister, Lucille Brown of Heyburn.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, one brother and one sister and one granddaughter.
A visitation in her memory will be held on Thursday, Jan. 30 at the Morrison Payne Mortuary in Rupert from 5 -7 p.m.
