Aberdeen to celebrate this weekend

Aberdeen Daze started in 1971. Saturday is the culmination of a week of events.
"It's a great day," said Dwight Wallace, Chamber of Commerce board member. "It's a great reunion for people who haven't been to Aberdeen for awhile.
"I've order perfect weather for the weekend," said Wallace.
A golf scramble at Hazard Creek will run from Tuesday through Friday. A children's drama camp for ages 5-18 at the high school auditorium that is sponsored by The Aberdeen Arts Council.

Sidewalk sales on Main Street
Fun Run at City Park - start times 8:15 and 8:30 a.m.
Artisan and craft fair in The Villager 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.—leatherwork (belts, vests, saddles, knife sheaves, etc…), inflatable balloons, belts, sunglasses, jewelry, tactical and ammo bags, purses, scarfs, kitchen towels and watch bands
Spud Derby to help the Simplot Relay for Life team 3 to 5 p.m. across from Maverik
Free breakfast at the City Park 6 to 10 a.m.
Drawing for grill, television set, pressure washer and various other items at 10 a.m.

Class of ‘79 Memorial Golf Tournament at Hazard Creek Golf Course 10 a.m.
Ping pong ball drop 11 a.m. on Main Street. Prizes can only be claimed today at Ace Hardware
Games will be available to play in the lawn area by Maverik 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Wiebe family Relay for Life at Senior Citizen Center. They are selling snow cones.
Lawn mower race begins at 2 p.m. on Main Street
Boy Scout All-you-can-eat fish fry at City Park 3 to 7 p.m.
“Pirates of the Curry Bean” at 4 and 5:30 p.m. in the high school auditorium.
