Annette Marie Holm, 45, of Pocatello, passed away at her home on Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2013.
She started her life in Van Nuys, Calif., on April 27, 1967.
Due to her father’s career, she had the opportunity to move and travel all over the U.S. and she saw many of the great sights this country has to offer. She attended many different schools, but on June 4, 2010, she excitedly and proudly accepted her GED and then enrolled in ISU where she was going to learn to be a web page designer for large corporations.
Annette was impossible to keep still. She always had to be doing something. She worked over 20 years in management as well as helping people with their lives in convalescent homes and drug rehabs.
She married Gerald Benjamin Woltring III on June 26, 1986. After years of trying, they were blessed with their daughter Morgan on Jan 19, 1995. And about four years later another daughter, Reagan, was born on Nov 3, 1998. After many struggles and hardships she met the second love of her life and married Brett D. Holm on June 28, 2009, who gave her four more children: Heather, Amanda, Charles, and Alan.
Annette was born and raised a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was married and sealed to her eternal family and had an unwavering faith and belief in the gospel.
She loved working, helping people, cooking, arts and crafts (she always had something going on), but most of all she loved being a mom.
Even though our lives were by no means easy, she always made sure that it was very clear that she loved us and that she was doing her best. She was a wonderful mother, wife and friend – the best that anyone could ever ask for.
Annette is survived by her husband Brett Holm of Pocatello; daughters Morgan Woltring and Reagan Woltring of Pocatello; stepchildren Heather, Amanda, Charles Holm and Alan Holm of Blackfoot; stepfather Ken Varma of Chile, South America, and her sister Cynthia Pardew of California.
Annette was preceded in death by her mother Bonnie Varma.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Feb 2, 2013, at the Highland LDS 8th Ward Chapel, 2000 S. Fairway. A visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, Feb 1, 2013, at Colonial Funeral Home, 2005 S. 4th Ave, and also one hour prior to the funeral at the church.
