Bingham Academy Charter High School graduated its second class of seniors on Friday, May 25 in front of an audience of 400. Twenty-two students received their diplomas in an hour-long program at the Blackfoot Performing Arts Center (BPAC)—twice the number of the school's first graduation in 2017.
The graduates processed into BPAC to 'Pomp and Circumstances,' played by the Bingham Academy Band.
The faculty and members of the school board were acknowledged. Then Mark Fisk, head teacher at the academy, welcomed the graduation speaker, Dr. Rick Aman, President of the College of Eastern Idaho (CEI). After the diplomas were given out, Fisk gave the closing remarks: “We opened our doors to students on August 18, 2014. It’s been four years and Bingham Academy has grown and improved every year."
