EISF concerts announced

IDAHO FALLS — From free entertainment including Lady Houdini and Blackfoot spray can artist Matt Sorensen to concerts from Big and Rich and Credence Clearwater Revisited, the Eastern Idaho State Fair will "Feed Your Need For Fun" this year.
"This year will be 112 years of food, family and fun," said fair manager Brandon Bird as he announced the theme and headline acts on Wednesday.
The fair will run from Aug. 30-Sept. 6. Gate prices will remain the same as they have been for the past five years — $6 for adults and $2 for children 6-11. Senior admission is $4.
Big and Rich will perform on Sept. 4 with Cowboy Troy and special guest Old Dominion as the warmup acts. Credence Clearwater Revisited will perform on Sept. 5. Ticket packages to both concerts begin at $44.
Information on the various shows is available on www.funatthefair.com as well as on Facebook, Twitter and other social media.
Many of the attractions which have been mainstays at the Fair will return. Included are such things as Agrium's Seed Survivor, a petting zoo and Super Science Company.
