Ex-BHS athlete charged with violating probation

BLACKFOOT – An evidentiary hearing for Nathan Anthony Walker, age 20, is set for 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 7. He is charged with a probation violation.
The alleged violation is being a minor in possession of alcohol on Dec. 22.
Defense attorney,Stephen Blaser requested Walker’s evidentiary hearing be set during Walker’s spring break. He is attending Blue Mountain Community College in Pendleton, Ore.
Seventh District Magistrate Judge Charles Roos agreed to set the hearing in early March.
On March 25, 2011, Walker pleaded guilty to two misdemeanor counts of disturbing the peace. On count one, he was sentenced to serve four days in jail with 176 suspended.
Walker was also fined $697.50 on count one and $137.50 on count two.
Walker’s supervised probation started on that same date.
