Firth topples Shelley

SHELLEY - For the second time this week, the Shelley Lady Russets have invited a Bingham County school into the friendly confines of Newell Sargent Memorial Gymnasium on the campus of Shelley High School and for the second time in as many games, found the foe to be a tough competitor. Shelley dropped a Wednesday night contest against Snake River and were bound and determined to keep that from happening against 2A Firth on Friday night.
Well, somebody forgot to tell the Lady Cougars that they weren't supposed to win. Firth used a very balanced attack offensively, some stout full court defense on the other end, and came away with a 47-28 win over the 3A Russets.
