Florence Condie, 91, of Blackfoot passed away on Sunday, May 27, 2012, at the Bingham Skilled Nursing and Rehab Center. 
She was born June 26, 1920 in Swan Lake to Lewis James Petty Jr. and Edith Chella Howell.
She graduated from Downey High School.
She married George L. Condie on Oct. 29, 1942, in the Logan LDS Temple
Florence was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she served for 14 years as the stake organist and served as various organizations as the pianist, organist and chorister and taught in the Relief Society.
She worked as a hotel clerk and as a telephone operator at the Bingham County Courthouse.
Florence enjoyed music, handiwork, gardening, canning, sewing, playing in various bands and musical groups all over Bingham County, and cooking.
  She is survived by a son, Gary E. (Myrna) Condie of Santa Clarita, Calif.; daughters, LaPriel (Kay) Wixom of Blackfoot, Colleen (Rex) Thomas of Morgan, Utah; and LouJean (Mike) Katseanes of Blackfoot; 19 grandchildren and 41 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband George, brothers Cluff Petty and Roy Petty and sisters Helen Pearson and Myrtle Ann Thomas.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, June 2, 2012, at Hawker Funeral Home 132 South Shilling in Blackfoot.  The family will greet friends for one hour prior to the service on Saturday morning. 
Interment will be in the Preston City Cemetery.
