Pride Days features plenty of fun

Blackfoot Pride Days "are going to be great," said Blackfoot Mayor Mike Virtue. "The vendors are coming in, Juan is here for the sprint boat demonstration," the mayor said. "There are airplane rides and snow machine races.
"It's going to be super," said Virtue.

Registration is $10. There will be auto trophies, motorcycle trophies and prizes for contestants wearing period costumes. Cash prizes for first place winners.
The show is from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Activities taking place throughout the day are a Family Carnival, Operation Lifesaver Train, Safety Fair, that is sponsored by Blackfoot Lions Club, a Bungi Run, sponsored by BHS seniors and greased watermelons from the swim platform. The greased watermelon contests are divided into various age groups.
