A fire that started Monday on the eastern end of the Fort Hall Reservation was 50 percent contained by Tuesday afternoon. The federal Bureau of Land Management, which is the lead agency for coordinating the fire fighting effort, reported that the fire should be 100 percent contained by August 16.
