Snake River Panthers graduate and former quarterback of the team that finished as runners-up to state champion Fruitland this past fall, has inked a letter of intent to play football at Lewis and Clark State College in Lewiston, Idaho.
The 6'1" Young, has been slated to play quarterback and be the place kicker for the Warriors and will be given a chance at starting at both positions this fall.
"I visited the campus this past week and had a very good tryout and visit with the coaching staff," Young said. "They told me that the quarterback job is mine if I can earn it and they don't have a kicker, so I should be able to play right away and that is something that I wanted."
