Optum Idaho to “Give Cold Feet the Boot” Giving Each Child at Donald D. Stalker
Elementary School a Brand-New Pair of Winter Boots
WHAT: Optum Idaho, in partnership with the Idaho State Department of Education and C-A-L Ranch Stores, has turned its annual giving campaign into a celebration through a new effort called “Give Cold Feet the Boot.”
Four elementary schools across Idaho were chosen for the inaugural event. In southeast Idaho, Donald D. Stalker Elementary students will walk away from school on November 22 with new, warm winter boots. To make an even larger impact on the feet of our children, C-A-L Ranch Stores is donating a pair of socks to each child, helping to ensure little feet are kept warm this winter season.
Optum Idaho is committed to serving communities all throughout our state. Thousands of Idaho students arrive at school each morning with cold feet because they don’t have proper winter footwear, which threatens their ability to learn and puts a strain on dedicated teachers, administrators, counselors and support staff. Together with our partners, we are hoping to eliminate that problem this winter.
